Two-switch Buck-Boost power factor correction (PFC) converter operating in pseudo continuous conduction mode (PCCM) is proposed in this paper. In order to simplify the controller design of the two-switch PCCM Buck-Boost PFC converter, output voltage ripple feedback control algorithm was proposed through analyzing output voltage ripple of the single-phase PFC converter. By sampling and calculating the output voltage ripple value, the proposed algorithm selected compensation coefficient of the current control loop dynamically. Without adding auxiliary circuit, the proposed algorithm was programmed with digital signal processor (DSP). Simulation and experiment results show that the system has fast dynamic response when the load power varies in a large-scale.
