Sealing rings for connecting the pairs of rotary motion

Experimental and theoretical investigations have been performed in order to select efficient seals for pairs of rotary motion. Rubbers, resins, plastic and other materials have been studied. Rubber seals are efficient ones. However, heat-resistance of them is low. Properties of the seals are improved in case of utilization of organofluorine modifier of K-95 type. Serviceability of the rubber is noted in media of petroleum products. Reinforcement of the rubber has been provided. Hydrodynamic effects is used in the rubber. Automatic monitoring of state of the seals is provided by means of developed indicator of wear.
