<正>In a study published in Nature on December 10, 2021, a research team led by Dr. SONG Zhitang and Dr. ZHU Min from the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology(SIMIT), CAS, constructed a pure tellurium device capable of rapid switching through phase transformation.Phase-change materials hold promise for computer memory and switching applications due to their compact size and fast switching speeds. However, commonly used materials often contain multiple elements, which can reduce switching reliability.
