Balfour Beatty takes the crown

Balfour Beatty finished 2019 as the year’s most successful roads contractor after winning more than £450m-worth of work in the final quarter. The firm won one of the few major projects to be let at the end of last year - a £66m improvement project on the A2 Bean and Ebbsfleet junctions near Dartford in Kent - and work on major frameworks.
