摘要
As the core component of electric vehicles, the temperature rise of electric vehicle drive motors directly affects the stability and safety of electric vehicles. Therefore, selecting appropriate thermal analysis models and cooling structures has very important practical significance in the design process of electric vehicle drive motors. In order to solve the cooling problem of electric vehicle drive motors, it focuses on the “source of heat-heat treatment-practical application” of electric vehicle drive motors. It summarizes the current development status of cooling design for electric vehicle drive motors both domestically and internationally in recent years. A brief introduction was given to the calculation method of heat source for electric vehicle drive motors and the basic principles of various types of losses. According to the classification of natural cooling, forced air cooling and liquid cooling, the application status of different kinds of electric vehicle drive motor cooling systems was described, and the actual application of electric vehicle drive motor cooling structures and their advantages and disadvantages were summarized. It provides a reference for the research and development of electric vehicle drive motors. © 2023 Editorial Department of Electric Machines and Control. All rights reserved.
