This paper addresses the need for cooperation between the civil and religious orders in the prosecution of crimes of child abuse. It offers an approach to the issue from the religious and civil perspective, a reflection on the advantages and difficulties of collaboration between the two orders and an analysis of the current situation in Spain on the subject. © 2022 OSA - The Optical Society.
