摘要
The United Nations declared the 2030 agenda for sustainable development that includes 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in 2015. Goal 6 is to ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all. The survey of WHO (World Health Organization) indicates that at least 1.8 billion people cannot access to safe-drinking water. The implementation of WSP (Water Safety Plan) almost becomes the consensus in the whole world under close collaboration of WHO and IWA in the last decade. WSP is a comprehensive risk assessment and risk management approach that comprises the whole drinkingwater supply chain, from catchment to consumer. Government, water utilities, Consumers and related stakeholders are included in the framework of WSP, and water utility is the most crucial role. After 2 years' preparation, TWD (Taipei Water Department) introduced WSP in 2013. TWD has implemented selfassess and self-correction mode WSP for 5 years, the experience was summarized in this article. © 2020, Chinese Institute of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering.
