摘要
The single drop oil combustion of a series of ABE/diesel mixed solution on different ratios were carried out by experiments on both static and dynamic conditions. The results show that micro-explosion occurs in ABE30, ABE50, ABE70 and ABE90 droplets.Especially ABE50 presents the most extensive micro-explosion characteristics and then the fast burning rate. The reason attributes to the larger volume fraction of bubbles in the droplet. The dynamic single drop oil experiment was conducted under the condition of free fall. The burning rate of the four mixtures is ABE50>ABE30>ABE70>D100.Additionally, it is found that ABE can effectively inhibit the formation of soot, especially when the ABE ratio is larger than 10%.While in pure diesel droplet, an obvious spherical soot shell is formed. © 2019, Editorial Office of the Transaction of CSICE.
