摘要
Taking an umbrella-shaped tension membrane structure commonly used in engineering as the research object, its dynamic response under hail impact was studied. Various test devices were designed and made. Through the hail impact test of the umbrella-shaped membrane structure, the displacement and velocity at different measuring points and the tension relaxation rate of the side cables were obtained. Then the finite element software ANSYS/LS-DYNA was used to simulate the impact of hail on the umbrella-shaped membrane structure, and the results were compared with the experimental data to verify the reliability and accuracy of the test. The final results show that the hail impact will cause large deformation of the umbrella-shaped membrane structure, accelerate stress relaxation, and even lead to membrane surface tearing and damage. The results lay a foundation for the study of the dynamic response of group hail impact, and also provide an engineering reference for the design, construction and maintenance of tensioned membrane structures. © 2021, Editorial Office of Journal of Vibration and Shock.
