Relaxed stability for T-S fuzzy systems using line-integral fuzzy lyapunov function

This study addresses the problem of the stability analysis for continuous-time T-S (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy systems. The proposed stability condition is based on a line-integral fuzzy Lyapunov function and multi-dimensional fuzzy summations. The property of definite matrices and the nonnegativeness of the membership functions were used to obtain a relaxed stability condition. The stability conditions for the T–S fuzzy systems were represented in terms of LMIs (Linear Matrix Inequalities). As a result, the proposed sufficient stability conditions were less conservative than those in the previous results [11]. A numerical example was used to illustrate the achieved improvement. © ICROS 2020.
