摘要
The bending of power cable has a great influence on its operation and life. In order to investigate the change of physical and chemical properties of XLPE cable insulation under bending state with electric heating, a bending cable model was established to study the stress distribution. The electric heating and bending of 110 kV XLPE cable were tested. After the experiments, the physical and chemical properties and dielectric properties of the insulating materials were tested, and the microstructure of the insulating material was observed. The results show that the residual by-products of XLPE insulation will focus on certain specific parts under the effect of internal stress and heat, and the concentration of by-product is not uniform, resulting in different parts of the dielectric properties of the corresponding changes in the sample. The internal stress will affect the crystallization process of the specimen, and further affect its mechanical properties. Meanwhile, the uneven distribution of by-products caused by stress will also has a certain impact on the crystallization process, thus indirectly affects its mechanical properties. The research results are of important theoretical significance and engineering application value. © 2019, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. All right reserved.
