摘要
In recent years, renewable energy has been developing rapidly in China. The installed capacity of wind and PV power has ranked first in the world. At the same time, the heavy curtailment of wind and solar power has been of a great concern. Thus, it is of great importance to analyze renewable energy accommodation factors and to which degree these factors influence renewable energy accommodation. Firstly, the concept of the contribution degree of renewable energy accommodation factors was put forward. The interactions between various factors were analyzed. Then, a general evaluation method for the contribution degree of renewable energy accommodation factors was proposed based on power system operation simulation under various constraints. Finally, case studies on modified IEEE RTS-79 system and Gansu-qinghai power grid were carried out to verify the validity of the proposed method. The evaluation method proposed in this paper has a wide range of application prospects in the fields of power system operation and planning and electricity market. © 2019 Chin. Soc. for Elec. Eng.
