Nowadays it is somewhat outdated, perhaps even naive, to talk about artificial intelligence as something set in the future. AI systems are already integrated into everyday human life, although they’re not the sci-fi-inspired robots some imagine as AI. In fact, there are AI systems that operate much closer to home, in or on the human body, to be more specific.
