摘要
Cathode material of Sr2-xPrxFe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ(x=0~0.1)for solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)was prepared by solution combustion method. Its phase structure, electrochemical properties, chemical stability and thermal compatibility with electrolyte materials were studied. The results show that Sr2-xPrxFe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ has a typical double-perovskite structure when Sr element in Sr2Fe1.5Mo0.5O6 is partially replaced by Pr. There is a good chemical stability and a thermal expansion compatibility between Sr2-xPrxFe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ cathode and Ce0.8Gd0.2O1.9 electrolyte. The conductivity of Sr2-xPrxFe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ can be improved while the polarization resistance is reduced by doping with appropriate amount of Pr. The conductivity of Sr1.95Pr0.05Fe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ can reach the maximum value of 32.0 S·cm-1 at 450 ℃,while having the lowest polarization resistance of 0.266 Ω·cm2. Therefore,Sr2-xPrxFe1.5Mo0.5O6-δ can be used as a potential cathode material for medium temperature solid oxide fuel cells. © 2024 Editorial Office of Chinese Rare Earths. All rights reserved.
