摘要
Transpiration cooling is an active thermal protection technology for near-space aircraft, which has an extremely high cooling efficiency. Based on a large number of relevant literatures, this paper introduces the mechanism and cooling characteristics of transpiration cooling, and summarizes its research progress in recent years. It mainly includes the selection of matrix material and coolant, the development of investigation method and structural optimization design. Finally, considering the existing problems of transpiration cooling, the possible research directions in the future are proposed. © 2023 Journal of Propulsion Technology. All rights reserved.
