摘要
To improve the efficiency of wet oxidation method denitration, a hydrodynamic cavitation enhanced denitrification method was proposed. Experimental results of hydrodynamic cavitation strengthening chlorine dioxide denitrification show that hydrodynamic cavitation reactor could produce a large number of cavitation bubbles containing a mixture of nitric oxide, and the diameter of a single bubble is about 1/37.4 of that generated by the bubbling denitration experiment. Large amount of cavitation bubbles greatly expands the gas-liquid contact area. Using chlorine dioxide with a mass fraction of 1.0×10-6, the duration for denitrification rate over 90% is 90 s for hydrodynamic cavitation reactor, while for the bubbling reactor is 0 s. Increasing the mass fraction of chlorine dioxide could prolong the duration of efficient denitrification, but lead to more nitrogen dioxide production and lower denitrification rate meanwhile. The proposed method dramatically improves the efficiency of wet denitration. © 2019, Editorial Board of Journal of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. All right reserved.
