摘要
A new type of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)was designed to utilize for the drive motor of a light electric vehicle. The rotor of the motor adopted the permanent magnet(PM)tangential magnetization(spoke-type)structure. On the premise of ensuring the rotor mechanical strength and the electromagnetic motor characteristics, a spoke-type hybrid punching rotor structure for IPMSM was proposed, which adopted the non-uniform air gap. The finite element method was used to analyze the back electromotive force(EMF)waveform, cogging torque, and output torque characteristics under different working conditions. The proposed structure and the Ⅴ-type structure were compared. The results showed that under the condition of the same electromagnetic characteristics, the amount of PM could be reduced by 32% after using the proposed spoke-type rotor structure. Thus, this proposed design can reduce the manufacturing costs of driving motors for light electric vehicles. © 2022, Editorial Board of Journal of Tianjin University(Science and Technology).
