摘要
In response to scientific evidence and mounting public concerns about the harmful effects of spent caustic, the oil and gas industry is instituting more vigorous efforts to prioritise the safe treatment and/or reuse of its waste materials. It is moving chemical management away from being a compulsion that is followed because of regulatory pressures and fear of fines and reputational damage.
