In order to study the effect of hygrothermal environment on the tensile properties of Sikaflex-265 adhesive for vehicle, the tensile failure strength of Sikaflex-265 adhesive was obtained under the quasi-static tensile test of aluminum alloy butt joint in 20 kinds of hygrothermal environment. With Matlab software, the test data were fitted by quadratic polynomial function and exponential function. The quadratic polynomial function was found to be more accurate to reflect the variation trend of Sikaflex-265 adhesive tensile failure strength with temperature and humidity. With Matlab software, regression analysis was made to establish the prediction model of Sikaflex-265 adhesive tensile failure strength under arbitrary hygrothermal conditions. Comparison with the experimental result shows that the proposed model has good prediction precision. © 2019, Jilin University Press. All right reserved.
