摘要
A cold indoor thermal environment in houses where older people live is one of the factors in their required nursing care level. Participants were 126 community-dwelling elderly using rehabilitation facilities in Japan. Participants were divided into a cold group and a warm group according to perceived indoor temperature. Multiple logistic regression analysis was conducted by using change in care level as an objective variable. Participants in the warm group had a lower probability of requiring a higher care level than those in the cold group (Odds Ratio = 2.84; p=0.02; 95% CI, 1.16-6.98). © 2020 Architectural Institute of Japan.
