摘要
Various sulfurized catalysts were prepared by different sulfurization methods, and then structures of the prepared catalysts were characterized by XPS, HRTEM, C-S content analysis and other analytical techniques. In addition, desulfurization activities of different catalysts were further evaluated to select the best performance catalyst. Based on the above study, e-Trust technology, i.e., ex-situ true sulfidization for hydrotreating catalyst preparation, was developed and commercialized. Surface of the commercial e-Trust sulfurized catalysts has been passivated. Experimental results show that sulfurized catalysts prepared by e-Trust technology have higher sulfidity, lower carbon content, and better desulfurization activity than the catalysts prepared by in-situ sulfurization technology. Commercial application results indicate e-Trust technology has good adaptability for different types of hydrogenation catalysts. Application of sulfurized catalysts prepared by e-Turst technology can reduce start-up time and cost, simplify start-up process, improve safety and economic return, and the process is also environmental friendly. © 2021, Editorial Office of Acta Petrolei Sinica(Petroleum Processing Section).
