摘要
To solve the serious issue of snow accumulation on the bogies of the high-speed trains operating in cold areas, the effects of the downward-inclined anti-snow deflectors on the wind-snow flow characteristics in the bogie regions of a three-car high-speed train were investigated using unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes simulations (URANS) with Realizable k-s coupled with the Discrete Phase Model (DPM). The results show that the downward-inclined anti-snow deflectors, with effective reduction of the stream-wise kinetic energy of the high-speed airflow beneath the highspeed train, suppress the fluctuation amplitude of the vertical velocity component of the airflow under the bogies and lower the separating position of the shear layers upstream the bogies. Compared to the downward-inclined anti-snow deflectors with the diversion angle of 5. 14°, the downward-inclined anti-snow deflectors with the diversion angle of 10°, significantly improving the flow characteristics of the airflow, weakens the impingement on the bogie surface caused by the massive snow particles and eliminates the upward climbing motion of snow particles around the middle bogie region and the rear equipment cabin covers, which thereby reduces the snow accumulation mass on the bogies No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 by 52. 6%, 45. 3%, 41. 8%, 37. 6% and 31. 8%, respectively. Compared to the original high-speed train, the downward-inclined anti-snow deflectors with the diversion angles of 5. 14° and 10° decrease the total snow mass on all bogies by 20. 6% and 41. 5%, respectively. © 2023 Science Press.
