Instant messaging encryption system based on secure decryption technology

In order to ensure information security, it is necessary to encrypt the instant messaging (IM) system. This paper designed an IM encryption system based on RSA (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) encryption algorithm. Firstly, the RSA encryption algorithm was introduced briefly, then the implementation of RSA encryption scheme in IM system was analyzed, and the overall design of the system was analyzed. In the test of system performance, the communication performance of text, voice, and video was tested respectively. The results showed that the encryption system designed in this paper had good real-time performance in text communication and good performance in encryption and decryption. The speech delay before and after encryption was 277.3 ms and 278.6 ms, respectively, and the packet loss rate of video transmission before and after encryption was 0.44% and 0.85%, respectively, showing that the system had good communication performance and was reliable. The research in this paper proves the effectiveness of RSA encryption algorithm in IM system and makes some contributions to the information security of IM system. © 2019 by Begell House, Inc.
