This paper discusses how to develop algorithms for controlling the optical elements in order to solve the complex problem of automatically adjusting an optical system with a two-mirror telescope that serves to output laser radiation and is a component of the reception channel. A control system in the form of adjustment modules built into the telescope is used to provide the adjustment. Mathematical descriptions of their structures and methods of operating with them are presented and used as a basis for proposing automatic-adjustment algorithms. © 2022 Optica Publishing Group
