摘要
The polyether diol (PTMG) reacted with dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate (HMDI) to form a polyurethane prepolymer terminated with isocyanate group (-NCO), and then reacted with epoxy resin (E-44) to synthesize a polyurethane modified epoxy resin with good molecular weight, reasonable distribution and excellent mechanical properties. By investigating the effects of raw material mole ratio, diluent dosage and synthesis processing on the properties of the resin, the results show that when the raw material mole ratio n(HMDI):n(PTMG):n(E-44)=2.3:1:2, the amount of diluent isobornyl acrylate (IBOA) is 20%, and the synthesis condition is 65 ℃×2 h+75 ℃×50 min, the viscosity can be obtained as 3.06×105 mPa•s (25 ℃), Mn as 1400, Mw as 2900. And the polyurethane modified epoxy resin has a molecular weight distribution width index of 2.07. The structure is characterized by IR, 13C-NMR and GPC. The results are consistent with the designed one and achieved the expect results. The tensile strength, impact strength, bending strength, storage modulus E', loss modulus E", Tg and the like are excellent. © 2020, Editorial Board of Polymer Materials Science & Engineering.
