摘要
In order to study the influences of moisture and compound electric field on breakdown characteristics of transformer oil at low temperatures, we established an experimental system which could run at low temperatures and carried out breakdown experiments of transformer oil with different moisture under compound electric field between -40℃ and 20℃. The results show that with the temperature decreasing, the breakdown strength of low moisture transformer oil increases, however, the breakdown strength of high moisture transformer oil first decreases and then increases under a compound electric field, and the minimums will distribute between -10℃ and 0℃. The breakdown strength of transformer oil significantly reduces with the enhancement of moisture between -10℃ and 20℃, and the temperature according to minimum breakdown strength of high moisture transformer oil moves to the high temperature direction. The breakdown strength of different moisture transformer oil decreases with the increasing of DC content. The increase of moisture weakens the influences of DC content to breakdown strength. © 2019, High Voltage Engineering Editorial Department of CEPRI. All right reserved.
