摘要
To deal with the problem that the traditional motor model ignores the influence of rotor iron losses, which leads to the low performance of the maximum torque per ampere (MTPA) control at high-speed operation state, a synchronous reluctance motors (SynRMs) model considering the iron losses and corresponding model-based control strategies was proposed. From the perspective of energy, the various losses generated on the iron core are equated to the heating loss of a core loss resistor which combines the accuracy and simplicity of modeling. Through accurate mathematical analysis of the total losses generated during the operation state of the motor, the minimum losses (ML) control strategy of SynRMs considering the iron losses was proposed. The strategy keeps the motor operation losses to the minimum, and improves the operation efficiency effectively by distributing the input current reasonably. In addition, the proposed control strategy can reduce the computational complexity of the controller effectively. Simulation and experimental results verify feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. © 2023 Editorial Department of Electric Machines and Control. All rights reserved.
