摘要
Operational personnel deployment and order sequence planning are important tasks of production management in order to identify and utilize existing potential in day-to-day business. This paper provides a methodology to support production management via the joint application of discrete-event simulation and production control. The evaluation of action alternatives is done by comparing the calculated contribution margin. © 2024 Walter de Gruyter GmbH, Berlin/Boston, Germany.
