摘要
The accurate electric field data with good continuous distribution are critical to simulate time project chamber (TPC) detectors. In this paper, ANSYS program was used to calculate the 3D electric field of TPC detector, and GARFIELD, a famous simulation program for gas detectors, was modified to read the electric field data. And then the electric field data were processed by Quadratic Shepard interpolation method. The results show that Quadratic Shepard interpolation method can help to obtain accurate interpolation results for the positions surrounded with extremely inhomogeneous distributed nodes. The Quadratic Shepard interpolation method can release the dependence of GARFIELD simulation on element types in FEA calculation, and it works well in 3D electric field calculation and simulation for complex TPC detectors with wire electrodes. © 2019, Editorial Board of Atomic Energy Science and Technology.
