To improve performance and allocate function of rejuvenating aged asphalt binder and resistance of reflective cracking, a series of high-viscosity rejuvenating emulsified asphalt(HVREA) were developed with polymer latex and several rejuvenators. Based on formula designed, emulsified asphalt preparation and technical properties test, effect of type and content of rejuvenator on viscosity of HVREA were studied, appropriate viscosity range of HVREA was decided and optimum formula of HVREA was suggested. PG grade and fatigue performance of HVREA were also evaluated. Results show significant improvement of viscosity and solid content of HVREA, as well as its low-temperature and anti-fatigue performance. The suggested Saybolt viscosity range of HVREA is 200 to 600s at 50℃. © 2019, Editorial Department of Journal of Building Materials. All right reserved.
