摘要
An experimental study on the stainless steel-water gravity heat pipes with different filling rates is carried out, and the effect of the inclination angle on the carrying limit of the gravity heat pipe is comparatively analyzed. Under the condition of constant cooling water flow, the temperature of the measuring point on the axial wall of the gravity heat pipe and the temperature of the cooling water inlet and outlet under different heating temperatures were measured, and the changes in the temperature of the measuring point on the wall when the gravity heat pipe had a carrying limit were observed and analyzed. The difference between the limit experimental value and the theoretical value is comparatively analyzed under different inclination angles. The results show that under different inclination angles, the gravity heat pipe with a liquid filling rate of 35% has a carrying limit under given experimental conditions, and the carrying limit experimental value decreases with the increasing of the inclination angle. When the inclination angle is 75°, the experimental value is consistent with the theoretical value. At other inclination angles, the maximum error between the two is 14%. © 2020, Editorial Board of Journal of Nuclear Power Engineering. All right reserved.
