摘要
Bubbles in bubble generators oscillate during rising, which affects bubble generation efficiency. A VOF model was used to simulate bubble generation and rising in a water tank. Different aeration speeds, orifice diameters and aspect ratios were examined. The oscillation characteristics and degree of oscillation were studied. The results show that the maximum offset of bubble plume oscillation decays exponentially with the Froude number and the aspect ratio. The offset angle corresponding to the maximum offset was polynomial with the Froude number and the aspect ratio. A relevant empirical correlation was given, and the law of bubble oscillation characteristics corresponding to different Froude numbers and sink aspect ratios was obtained. © 2020, Editorial Board of "Journal of Chemical Engineering of Chinese Universities".
