摘要
As the autonomous ship technology emerges,a cyberspace will be born of ship-shore,ship-ship data exchange. The security problem within the cyberspace and the importance of defending the cyberspace for the typical security-critical system such as the autonomous shipping were addressed. The characteristics of dynamic opportunistic network formed by ships and shore stations under the technology trend of autonomous navigation, and the conditions for building a reliable, credible and controllable data exchange system were discussed. From the perspective of general information security theory, the imminent threats and misbehaviors within the autonomous shipping when information security ignored was delineated, focusing on the technical characteristics of autonomous shipping. The feasible solutions toward the cyberspace security concerns were elaborated with regard to the exiting mature framework based on the state-of-art theory foundations. It introduces how the widely-noticed blockchain technology can be applied to the autonomous shipping system to solve the multi-side trustworthiness problem in the cyberspace, and the application can help to enhance the cyberspace security with impact on the real-world entities in the intelligent shipping system. © 2023 Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
