摘要
In this paper, the fusion of Internet of Things (IoT) and Long Range (LoRa) technologies is explored within the context of smart agriculture, aiming to enhance sustainable farming practices and food security. The paper delves into the design and deployment of a sophisticated agricultural monitoring system that leverages IoT for meticulous real-time data collection on environmental conditions and LoRa for its long-range, low-power communication capabilities. Through practical implementation in remote agricultural settings, the system demonstrates significant improvements in farming operations, such as optimized irrigation and effective intrusion detection, thereby contributing to increased agricultural productivity and sustainability. The research further evaluates the system's performance, emphasizing its potential to facilitate precision agriculture by enabling data-driven decision-making and efficient resource management. Additionally, the paper suggests directions for future research to overcome existing limitations and capitalize on emerging technologies, with the ultimate goal of revolutionizing agricultural practices through IoT and LoRa integration. This study highlights the transformative impact of combining IoT and LoRa technologies in advancing smart agriculture, underscoring their role in promoting efficient, sustainable farming techniques that are crucial for addressing global food security challenges.
