摘要
The cotton mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis is one of the most destructive polyphagous pests and is distributed worldwide. It is continuously expanding its host plants and known to feed on several commercial tree species. Survey was conducted during rainy and post rainy season 2023 at research farm of ICFRE-AFRI, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. During the survey, cotton mealybug was reported for the first time to feed on rohida tree, Tecomella undulata. nursery seedlings. This mealybug species is recorded for the first time on Tecomella undulata.
