摘要
The most common malignant tumour in women is breast cancer, so >90 % of patients' deaths are closely related to the strong invasive and metastatic ability of breast cancer. It is of critical significance to detect, diagnose, and treat breast cancer promptly through the close monitoring of breast cancer markers. A variety of cancer markers are available to reflect the progression of breast cancer. Still, most existing cancer assays have low selectivity, poor sensitivity, complicated procedures, require specialized instruments and technicians, and are time-consuming. Herein, we summarize the applications of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for breast cancer detection in electrochemical sensors, fluorescent sensors, and imaging sensitization and discuss in depth the relationship between the structures and sensing mechanisms in each sensor. Finally, some pressing issues in breast cancer markers are summarized here. In addition, we have highlighted the prospects for future progress, which may provide a new way of thinking for monitoring individualized treatment for breast cancer patients.
