摘要
In this paper, PID-based controllers are designed for linear, nonlinear and simplified models of an Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV). However, the ETV system is basically nonlinear and can be described by different mathematical models. Otherwise, due to the non-smooth nonlinearities such as friction and nonlinear spring in the system, it is difficult to control the ETV angle position, especially the desired transient response's performances. Motivated by the conventional PID control simplicity, robustness and validity to deal with the nonlinearities of ETV system, the main purpose of this current work is to find the simplest PID control elaborated for the linearized ETV system and then to generalize its application to the nonlinear and the simplified ones. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the developed PID control approaches in terms of desired trajectory tracking even in the presence of multiple nonlinearities for different given ETV models. Comparative and simulation analyses are performed to illustrate the tracking performance of the different proposed PID controllers for ETV.
