Dual Watermarking Scheme Based on IWT for Checking Image Integrity and Protecting Copyright

摘要
Image watermarking has become essential in the present development of multimedia technologies to overcome copyright infringement difficulties and image integrity. This paper aims to propose a new embedding scheme for robust and fragile image watermarking algorithm. The cover image is embedded a copyright logo, thus, authentication bits are added to the watermarked image. The image is split into 16x16 pixels of non-overlapping block. The separated blocks are computed with three levels of IWT. The strategy scaling technique with a set of rules and conditions for embedding are used to embed the robust watermark in the 2x2 LL sub-band. Two-level authentication bits are then placed into the LSB of the watermarked image. The outcomes of the experiment demonstrated that the watermarked image's imperceptibility is about 45.17 db for PSNR value and 0.994 for SSIM value. The proposed scheme has capability tamper detection with an accuracy of 0.989 with tamper ratio of 4.4%. The results also achieved high NC value of 0.791 under cropping attack of 25% and salt pepper noise 0.5%.
