Chiral bifacial indacenodithiophene-based π-conjugated polymers with chirality-induced spin selectivity

摘要
Novel optically active pi-conjugated polymers having a chiral bifacial indacenodithiophene backbone were synthesized by Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling polymerization with benzothiadiazole comonomer. The obtained C2-chiral polymers form amorphous thin films on HOPG and exhibit good chirality-induced spin selectivity with spin polarization of nearly 70%. Chiral bifacial indacenoditiophene-containing pi-conjugated polymers were synthesized and exhibited pronounced spin filtering function based on chirality induced spin selectivity.
