Below is a brief account of the process of creating the Sami People's Room at the National Museum of World Cultures (mncm, Mexico City), of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (inah). The purpose is to reflect on this type of experience as an essential part of the training of students in the postgraduate program in Museum Studies and Practices of the National School of Conservation, Restoration and Museography (encrym), also of the inah.
