摘要
In order to accurately analyze the winding power loss in field modulation permanent magnet machine, the power loss model comprehensively considering the influence of the skin effect, the proximity effect, the thermal effect, and different winding topologies on winding eddy current loss is established in this paper. The characteristics of the winding resistance is analyzed, where the harmonic, conductor size, and number of parallel strands are taken into account. The calculated winding power loss based on the proposed analytical model is compared with the simulation results obtained by traditional finite element analysis. Then, the experiment for measuring winding resistance and AC power loss under different current excitations is carried out. Compared to the finite-element modeling approach that is often used for AC winding copper loss, the key advantages of the proposed model are high accuracy and low time consumption.
