摘要
As the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) includes at least two energy sources, appropriate control of these energy components is necessary to maximise the efficiency of the HEV, which is the purpose of the HEV control strategy. This paper describes a Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO)-Fuzzy control approach applied to HEV with parallel configuration. This approach employs a fuzzy controller, wherein the parameters of the Membership Functions (MFs) are fine-tuned using the PSO algorithm. The primary goal is to reduce energy consumption with consideration of battery State of Charge (SoC) maintenance. The effectiveness of this strategy will be proven by simulations under a variety of driving cycles.
