A new color image encryption algorithm based on the memristor hyperchaos system and Rubik's cube theory

摘要
A novel color image encryption algorithm has been developed to address the issue of discrete memristor applications research which is relatively straightforward to implement but rarely mentioned. A hyperchaotic system based on a discrete square memristor has been proposed. Through kinetic analysis, it can be demonstrated that the square discrete memristor expands the hyperchaotic domain of the system, enhances its complexity, and produces a highly random hyperchaotic sequence. Furthermore, in order to address the issue of information loss between the three channels of the encrypted color image, this paper proposes a new color image encryption algorithm based on the hyperchaos sequence. This algorithm integrates a bidirectional diffusion method with a pixel scrambling technique based on Rubik's cube theory. This integration effectively preserves the connection between the three channels, allowing for the transmission of more information. Furthermore, this algorithm provides a new direction for research in information hiding. Finally, comprehensive performance tests conducted on this algorithm demonstrate its capacity to achieve reliable encryption and decryption while effectively countering various common attacks and safeguarding information security.
