摘要
In this study, I analyzed the characteristics of the sound of waves that affect the psychological and physiological evaluation of the sound of waves, using EEG as a physiological evaluation index. Based on the results of this analysis, an attempt was made to create a simpler sound pattern, using electronic sounds with high reproducibility, that would have the same effect on humans as the sound of waves. In the first experiment, an impression evaluation questionnaire and EEG measurements were used to determine which sounds of waves produced the most pleasant sensations. I also considered the acoustic characteristics of the sound of waves that influence these measures; in the second experiment, based on the results of the first, I focused on the first characteristic of the sound of waves that is most effective in inducing pleasant emotions. The sound of waves is considered to consist of two major components: a sustained sound with a long period due to the push and pull of the waves, and a short sound due to the bubbles caused by the breaking waves in the sound of waves. The randomness of the rhythm and melody of the latter short sound and its relationship to the sound of waves were considered in the same way as in the first experiment.
