摘要
Based on the resource-based view and resource orchestration theory, this study aims to reveal the impact of green supply chain integration on exploitative green innovation and exploratory green innovation. We employ hierarchical regression analysis to test the conceptual model by collecting data from 263 manufacturers in China. The findings indicate that green internal integration positively influences both exploitative and exploratory green innovation, green supplier integration and green customer integration exhibit an inverted U-shaped impact on exploitative and exploratory green innovation. Furthermore, resource orchestration capability enhances the connection between green internal integration and exploitative and exploratory innovation. And it also moderates the relationship between green supplier integration and green customer integration with exploitative and exploratory green innovation, flattening the inverted U-shaped curve when the capability is strong. This study shows that excessive or inadequate integration is not necessarily conducive to green innovation and it reveals the complex impact of different dimensions of green supply chain integration on green innovation. The new findings are of significant importance to managers and researchers in the management of green supply chains and green innovation.
