摘要:
This systematic review examined the effects of maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) on obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients with obesity, including 14 studies with 143 subjects. Significant improvements were observed in apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), lowest oxygen saturation (LSAT), and Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS), with surgical success and cure rates at 85.6% and 39.2%, respectively. Notably, patients with class 3 obesity showed a significantly greater percent reduction in AHI compared to those with class 1 and 2 obesity.image
