摘要
This paper presents a comprehensive study on the Load Supplying Capability (LSC) of high voltage (HV) transmission networks, with a focus on robust model formulation under uncertain power demand conditions. Our primary objective is to calculate the LSC, considering factors like network topology, line and generation capacities, and especially load demand uncertainties. We initially establish a deterministic LSC model as a baseline. This model incorporates various constraints and an objective function to maximize the load supply. In advancing to a robust LSC model, we address the inherent uncertainty in load demand forecasting, modelling it as a range of values within a polyhedral uncertainty set. This model operates in two stages: first, incorporating the worst-case scenario for uncertain power demand, and then maximizing the LSC within operational constraints.
