Electrochemical polymerization of D-A-D type monomer consisting of triphenylamine and anthraquinone moieties for electrochromic energy storage devices

摘要
In this work, two D-A type conjugated polymers PBDAPA and PBDSAD consisting of triphenylamine and anthraquinone moieties were prepared by electrochemical polymerizations of the monomers BDAPA and BDSAD for electrochromic energy storage devices. The present triphenylamine-based polymers exhibited remarkable electrochromic performance involving large optical contrast over 60 %, short response time below 1 s, high coloration efficiency over 340 cm2/C. 2 /C. These redox active polymer thin films also showed energy storage properties with area specific capacitance over 1 mF/cm2 2 at the current density of 0.1 mA/cm2. 2 . Moreover, electrochromic Zinc-organic energy storage device based on these two polymer thin films were fabricated and showed obvious color change during the charge/discharge process, which guaranteed their potential applications in energy saving smart electronics.
