A new species of the genus Eotmethis Bey-bienko, 1948 (Orthoptera, Acridoidea, Pamphagidae) from desert zone of Mongolia

A new species of the genus Eotmethis Bey-bienko, 1948 (Acridoidea, Pamphagidae, Thrinchinae) is described in this paper, namely E. aguitiensis sp. nov. from the South of Mongolia. The major morphological differences to other species are posterior margin of pronotum without distinct row of subuliform projections, prosternum with a strong lamellate process on the anterior margin which undulated by several small tubercles, inner side of hind femur between the kills are dark blue and inner lower marginal area has reddish orange strip that starts at its base but disappears before half way to its tip. Inner side of hind tibia in base and apical part red, remaining part blue.
