Play Activities for the Development of Imagination and Creativity in Children

Children play in their first years of life to have fun, develop their fantasy, imagination and creativity. The first years of education are the fundamental piece for the infant to develop abilities and skills, therefore the teacher must have the necessary resources to make this possible. The objective of this work is to design playful activities for the development of imagination and creativity in children aged 4-5 years. Various scientific research methods were taken into account, such as theoretical, empirical, mathematical or statistical methods, which allowed us to delve deeper into the problem as well as tabulate the results obtained from the diagnosis. The main result was the design of playful activities which have a structure and the results of the validation carried out show that they can be put into practice. It is concluded that playful activities are a viable alternative for the learning and development of children.
